Christopher Hickey, MFA

Christopher Hickey is a professor of art at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia, where he teaches studio art with a focus on printmaking and drawing. He earned his MFA degree in printmaking from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, and his BFA degree from Miami University of Ohio. Hickey specializes in etching and relief printing techniques in addition to observational drawing and painting. His works have been exhibited in numerous international, national and regional juried exhibitions including the Harnett Biennial of American Prints, University of Richmond, Virgina, the Atlanta Print Biennial International Competition, Atlanta, Georgia, and Painting and Seeing, International Juried Exhibition, University of North Carolina Wilmington, North Carolina.

A prize-winning author, widely-published academic and supported by some of the most respected scholarly institutions throughout the world, Dr. Finley is a specialist in the art market, currently researching global art economy.
